RankedNear review guidelines

RankedNear only publishes reviews tied to a real job booked through RankedNear. Reviews must describe your own experience, stay respectful and contain no personal data. Businesses can reply once, publicly, but cannot remove or edit reviews.

Updated October 2026

Who can leave a RankedNear review?

Anyone who sent a quote request through RankedNear that the business accepted. RankedNear emails a review link after the job date.

RankedNear does not accept reviews from people with no linked job, and never copies reviews from other websites.

What makes a good review?

  1. Say what the job was and when it happened.
  2. Describe what went well and what did not.
  3. Mention price and timing if they mattered to you.
  4. Keep it to your own experience with this business.

Which reviews does RankedNear remove?

  • Conflicts of interest Reviews by owners, staff, relatives or competitors.
  • Paid or incentivized reviews Any review given in exchange for money, discounts or gifts.
  • Personal data Phone numbers, addresses or full names of staff or other customers.
  • Abuse Threats, hate speech, harassment or explicit content.
  • Off-topic content Reviews about a different business or not about the service.

How do RankedNear business replies work?

Each business can post one public reply per review. Replies follow the same rules as reviews. A business can report a review, and the RankedNear team decides within three business days.

Common questions

Can a business delete a bad review on RankedNear?

No. Businesses can reply publicly or report a review that breaks these guidelines. Only the RankedNear moderation team can remove a review.

Why can I not leave a review without a booking?

Tying every review to a real job stops fake and paid reviews. It is also what lets RankedNear label these reviews as verified.
