Who writes RankedNear guides?
Every guide is published under the RankedNear name. A reviewer is named only when a real person checked it. RankedNear never uses invented personas or AI-generated bylines.
How are RankedNear best-of guides made?
- Pick a specific need, such as weekend call-outs or nervous patients.
- Filter to businesses that meet it, using listing data only.
- Rank them by a rule written at the top of the guide, different from the main results.
- Write a reason for each pick from that business’s own facts.
- A person reads a sample of every batch before it goes live.
A guide is published only with eight or more qualifying businesses. RankedNear never publishes a generic "best plumbers in Miami" guide, because the ranked list already answers that.
Where do RankedNear cost figures come from?
National cost guides use prices stated on business websites and quotes sent through RankedNear. A city cost page is published only with ten or more local price points. RankedNear never invents prices.
How does RankedNear handle sponsors and affiliates?
- Sponsored guides Labeled "Sponsored". The sponsor cannot choose or order the picks.
- Partner boxes Labeled "Partner" with a one-line disclosure.
- Ads One per results page, labeled "Ad", outside the ranking.
How does RankedNear correct mistakes?
Report an error through the contact page. Confirmed corrections are made within five business days, and the guide’s updated date changes.
